Before you begin

For this game it is best to divide the class into two groups of four kids in each group. The children sit facing each other in pairs. Place one lunchbox in front of each pair of children. Place an equal number of game cards in front of each pair of children.

To play

After the children understand how to play the game, dump the plastic food items on the floor in the middle of the room. Each pair of children alternate drawing a card, counting the number of beats on cards, then choosing that number of plastic food items to put into their lunchbox.
