Churches set their own policy

As a licensee of the Cherubs Music Program, your church sets your own policy for participation. A church may offer classes to church members only, or open their classes to any interested family.

 

Best Recommendation for Success

Our goal is to both attract new families to the church and to integrate them into our faith community. We want those new to church to hear the word preached and to experience firsthand our Christian community gathered together in prayer. This suggests a policy of opening our ministries to everyone, members and non-members. 

 

Since the Cherubs Program periodically brings the children before the congregation to present a song, it is perfectly reasonable to expect participants to be in attendance during the service when the children make their musical presentation. It has been our experience that this policy, along with a commitment to welcoming newcomers, is very effective. Indeed, we have seen many otherwise religiously disinterested Cherubs Music parents become deeply involved in church life, due in part to a policy of openness to all, paired with a stated expectation for participants to be present at worship with their classmates when their children make their presentations.
