Some notes on safety
We hope everyone will use our products safely. Here are some of the things we recommend:
Use under adult supervision
Never let children play on a canvas unsupervised by adults. It is a good class policy for an adult to hold the hand of a child if they hop a pattern on the floor keyboard or step on lines or spaces on the floor staff.
Place over a non-skid surface
If you have a carpeted space, depending on the type of carpet and thickness, this may be a good choice over which to place your canvases. Home improvement stores sell an inexpensive rug-length rubbery product meant to be placed under area rugs on tiled or wood floors, and this seems to also work really well. You will, of course, want to thoroughly test any solution you choose to avoid anyone either slipping and falling on your canvases or slipping and falling due to an unsecured canvas.
Screen inks
The screen printing inks we use meet strict safety standards for use around children. Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for our inks are available for your inspection here.
